A hands-on role in multidisciplinary building design

CEA is seeking Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Designers who can support building-design services across commercial, institutional, residential, and governmental projects.

This position combines technical production, BIM-based design, code-aware documentation, research, timely project communication, and close coordination with clients and the broader project team.

REVIT-Based Design

Develop coordinated building-system documentation using REVIT; AutoCAD experience adds value.

CO

Project Coordination

Coordinate clearly with architectural clients, owners, contractors, engineers, and internal team members.

RFI

Responsive Support

Research and respond to RFIs, submittals, and proposal requests accurately and in a timely manner.

CODE

Code-Aware Work

Support design duties in compliance with applicable engineering standards, energy codes, and local requirements.

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering Designer

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Support building design and engineering services.
  • Work across commercial, institutional, residential, and governmental projects.
  • Perform engineering duties in compliance with ASHRAE standards and local codes.
  • Research and respond to RFIs, submittals, and proposal requests in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with architectural clients, owners, and contractors.
  • REVIT experience required; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering Designer

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Support building design and engineering services.
  • Work across commercial, institutional, residential, and governmental projects.
  • Perform engineering duties in compliance with NEC standards and local energy codes.
  • Research and respond to RFIs, submittals, and proposal requests in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with architectural clients, owners, and contractors.
  • REVIT experience required; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
