A technical leadership role with real project ownership

CEA is seeking registered Mechanical and Electrical Professional Engineers who can work independently, lead small interdisciplinary teams, and deliver thoughtful designs for commercial, institutional, and governmental projects.

This role combines hands-on engineering, client coordination, quality technical documentation, construction-phase involvement, and responsibility for guiding projects from inception through completion.

Team Leadership

Be prepared to lead a small interdisciplinary engineering group and support collaborative project execution.

PM

Project Management

Manage projects from inception through design, documentation, construction, and close coordination.

CO

Client Coordination

Communicate effectively with architectural clients, owners, contractors, and internal team members.

BIM

Design Technology

REVIT experience is required. AutoCAD experience is considered a plus.

Mechanical Engineering

Registered Mechanical Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Active Professional Engineer registration.
  • Independently prepare HVAC equipment, ductwork, and piping designs.
  • Experience in commercial, institutional, and governmental project types.
  • Perform engineering duties in compliance with ASHRAE standards and local codes.
  • Prepare load calculations, project specifications, and control sequences.
  • Manage projects through design and construction.
  • Coordinate with architects, owners, and contractors.
  • REVIT experience required; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Electrical Engineering

Registered Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Active Professional Engineer registration.
  • Independently prepare power, lighting, and fire-alarm designs.
  • Experience in commercial, institutional, and governmental project types.
  • Perform engineering duties in compliance with NEC standards and local energy codes.
  • Prepare photometric calculations, voltage-drop analysis, and arc-flash analysis.
  • Manage projects through design and construction.
  • Coordinate with architects, owners, and contractors.
  • REVIT experience required; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
